Bose bad things, get ready!?
I'm thinking of six 901s for a surround array. The problem today is 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS receiver There is no way to incorporate the required active EQ, because the tape loop is automatically bypassed when the digital surround is selected. What does the 901 active EQ actually do and what would the 901s sound like in a surround array without her? I myself have to admit a Bose bats but I must say that the 901 is probably one of the best sounding, most transparent speakers of all time.
Good question. I owned 2 pairs of 901, that I do with a Phase Linear 1000 (1000W RMS drive used is). You kick butt, but I would not really call it "transparent". Anyway, to your question … the reason for the 901's need She is the Bose EQ, because everyone is 901 actually only 9 Mid-Range ported driver. Without an active EQ is all you get a much doomed from the middle price segment. Because of the this restriction, you can have to try to contact Bose and asked them if there is a hack or work-around. Otherwise, I think will make the sound, but no. However, had I bet unless your goal is to literally shake your house apart, with 5.6 or 7 in the Bose 301 surround sound mode would be great. A lot of people (including I) are of the opinion that the 301 has always been the best-sounding Bose speakers.

So it is anybody out there? Fifty years ago, Frank Drake – then a young astronomer from Cornell University – began an experiment that could have profound implications for …
