Can 2 different hard drives in my laptop?
I have a Dell Studio 17 min with a 320 GB 5400 rpm. It has a different hard drive bay in him. Can a 500-GB 7200 rpm in the other bay? They had in mind I have no RAID card, nor do I want to run a RAID configuration.
If My laptop has two hard drive bays, then it will accept any size of hard disk and any speed as long as the hard drive uses the same connection system doing as laptop. You do not need a RAID configuration with two disks with different speeds and sizes, just run, you put it in your laptop and should be able to use it.
